Peter A. Muhic
Peter is a talented trial lawyer and formidable litigator who has successfully represented clients in sophisticated litigation in federal and state courts throughout the country. He has skillfully deposed hundreds of fact and expert witnesses, prevailed in countless motions and tried cases to verdict in six different states. Peter was formerly a partner at an AMLaw 100 law firm based in Philadelphia where he litigated a variety of complex cases, with an emphasis on commercial and contractual disputes, product defects and construction litigation. More recently, Peter was a partner at one of the country’s leading class action and securities law firms, where he litigated and directed teams of attorneys prosecuting claims involving ERISA, FLSA, RESPA, RICO, fiduciary breaches, product defects, consumer protection statutes and other statutory and common law causes of action.
Peter has served as a judge pro tempore for the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas for 11 years. In that capacity, he conducts settlement conferences for cases approaching trial. He also is the recipient of multiple awards for his pro bono service for the elderly and disabled. While in law school, Peter was the Managing Editor of the Temple Law Review and a member of the moot court team. |
